There’s a new tail fin at Edinburgh Airport thanks to the arrival of SunExpress.
The airline landed in the capital in April 2022 to operate its first ever route to Scotland, flying between Edinburgh and Antalya.
The service will operate up to three times a week between April and October – initially on Tuesdays and Saturdays, then stepping up to Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from May 24 2022.
Kate Sherry, Aviation Director at Edinburgh Airport said:
“We are excited to be bringing a new airline to Edinburgh and offering more choice to passengers looking to take a well-earned holiday. Turkey is one of the most requested destinations from our customers looking to get some sunshine and this will increase Scotland’s connectivity in a sustainable fashion thanks to SunExpress’ modern fleet of aircraft.”
The flights are already for sale on the sunexpress.com website, via tour operators and travel agencies.
