Our fastTRACK option can speed up your journey through security by bypassing the queues and helping you get to the front of line quicker.
Of course we always work hard to minimise queues in the airport, and ensure things are moving as smoothly as possible, however in busy environments queues can be inevitable - and that's where fastTRACK comes in.
This service is for use by departing passengers only. Please note, fastTRACK passport control - for arriving passengers - is no longer available. This was withdrawn in July 2024 following changes brought in by UK Border Force.
Those who have booked multi-storey parking automatically get fastTRACK passes. In this case, providing there are no bags to check-in, the easiest way to access it is via the overbridge on the second level of the multi-storey car park. Follow the signs and you'll be in security in a few short minutes.
If you're not coming from the multi-storey car park the fastTRACK lane is situated to the left of the e-gates (the area where you scan your boarding pass) as you make your way towards security.
The fastTRACK lane is open each day from 04:00 to 19:00.
Passes can be booked either in advance or when you arrive at the airport using one of our QR codes.
As outlined, passengers who have booked multi-storey parking automatically get access with their booking.
When you arrive at the fastTRACK entrance all you'll need is your ticket or booking confirmation and you will be granted access.
Children under two go free at FastTRACK security, and it's flexible so you can arrive up to an hour before or after your booking.
Please note the time you book for is the time you are expecting to go through security, not your flight time. If you are booking FastTRACK with car parking the time will correspond with the time you arrive in the car park.
You can purchase passes on the day using one of the QR codes, or via our website.
