Plaza Premium Group (PPG) will launch the lounge - its first in Scotland - in the coming months. It will cater for 165 passengers and come complete with tartan upholstery, plush seating and carefully selected local artwork which showcases iconic Scottish landmarks.

There will be several different zones including a family-friendly area with interactive wall games and a small climbing wall along with large screens showing live sports and entertainment.

With sustainability at the forefront all furniture and materials have been sourced from local suppliers in order to minimise the environmental impact, while the lighting scheme is comprised of 100 per cent LED lighting, and the lounge is installed with energy-efficient appliances.
