Two bestselling authors will take part in book signings at the airport's WHSmith Bookshop this month to celebrate Edinburgh's iconic book festival.

R. F. Kuang is first up and she will visit the store to sign copies of her #1 Sunday Times bestseller Yellowface between 1130 and 1230 on Friday, August 16.

Yellowface tells the story of a failed writer who steals the manuscript of her more successful rival after their death. It has won a host of 'book of the year' prizes while earning widespread acclaim from critics and journalists.

Passengers can either bring along their own books to be signed or buy one at the store - the perfect opportunity if you're looking to pick up a holiday read, right?

Colm Tóibín will then visit the WHSmith Bookshop from 1300 to 1400 on Wednesday, August 21 to sign copies of his award winning novel Brooklyn.

Brooklyn follows the story of a young Irish immigrant who moves to New York and settles in Brooklyn in the 1950s. The book was adapted into a movie of the same name in 2015, starring Saoirse Ronan, and Domnhall Gleeson and earning three Oscar nominations.

Passengers will again have the chance to bring along their own copy of the book for signing, or pick one up in store.
