If travelling to the Theme Park Capital of the World is on your bucket list then getting there from Edinburgh just got a whole lot easier.

Virgin Atlantic’s Edinburgh to Orlando route has commenced, with two flights a week to The Sunshine State operating on an Airbus A330-200.

The seasonal route began on 30 March 2022 and will run until the end of October.

So if you are looking to take that first big holiday in a few years then this could be the one for you!

So when can I catch a flight?

  • Flight VS225 departs Edinburgh at 10.20am (local time) on Wednesdays and Saturdays, arriving into Orlando International Airport (MCO) at 2.30pm (local time)

  • Flight VS226 departs Orlando International Airport at 5.20pm (local time) on Tuesdays and Fridays, arriving into Edinburgh at 6.20am (local time)
