Looking to drop off your bags at the airport the night before you fly? One less thing to deal with when you arrive in the morning, right?
If this sounds like the ultimate convenience then you should know the Twilight bag drop service operated by four airlines at Edinburgh Airport will now continue throughout the winter months.
Earlier in 2024 the service was extended to cover more days and longer hours, while a trial allowing parking customers to access our 1hr Parking area for free while dropping cases off was also introduced.
We're pleased that these changes proved popular with passengers and will continue all year round as a result.

Anyone who has a morning flight with Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2.com or British Airways can take advantage providing you can get to the airport to check-in your bags the night before.
Your flight must be before midday for easyJet, Jet2.com and British Airways, and before 08:00 if you're flying with Ryanair.
The airlines operate different bag drop times - so make sure you check this before you arrive with your luggage.
We've got a range of public transport options allowing easy access to the terminal, while throughout the summer we'll also be providing free 1hr Parking access to anyone who has already booked official airport parking.
Find out more about the 1hr Parking area here.

Please note, if you want to use the Twilight bag drop service with Jet2.com you must check in online at least 24 hours before your flight.
To use Twilight bag drop you must have completed check in and have a boarding pass.
The lead booker must be present when bags are being dropped off, and while they can drop off up to six bags on behalf of others they are travelling with they'll need to bring everyone's passports and boarding passes with them.
For further information on the Twilight bag drop service you should contact your airline directly.
All customers who have made a car parking booking directly with the airport, and will be parked at the airport while they are away, will be given access to the 1hr Parking area while they drop their bags off the night before travel.
To get in you don't need to do anything else, the barrier will automatically lift and allow you access when you arrive.
1hr Parking is located within Terminal Parking. To get there from Eastfield Road just follow the signs for Edinburgh Airport and then continue straight at the roundabout by the DoubleTree by Hilton. At the next roundabout take the second exit towards Terminal Parking.
Once you enter the car park you'll see 1 hr Parking signposted (it's close to the coach park).
It's worth noting all parking bookings need to have been made directly with the airport to qualify.
Different airlines open their check-in desks at different times, so it's always best to check this before the day of your flight.
While some open their desks up to four hours before flight times, others do so two hours ahead of departure.
Desks and times can vary, and are subject to change by the airline.
