Improvement works will be carried out in our Mid Stay and Long Stay car parks in winter 2023, with some closures for passengers to be aware of.
Mid Stay will be temporarily closed from 6 November to 19 December. One half of Long Stay will then shut from 22 December to 19 February, 2024, before reopening so works on the other half can take place from 13 February to 29 March, 2024.
The closures are to allow for a new walking route to be created from the two car parks to the terminal, making access to departures even easier, while additional blue badge spaces, new signage and better traffic flows will also be brought in.
In addition, the free pick-up and drop-off area - which passengers can use for 30-minutes without charge - will be moved to a new location within Long Stay, making it nearer the terminal.
These works will improve the car parks for passengers, and have been planned for our quieter months to cause as little disruption as possible.
