Verona

Verona

In fair Verona… you’ll find romance and relaxation.

Famed for its link to Romeo and Juliet, at the heart of Verona there's outstanding art and culture. The Giardino Giusti sculpted gardens fall firmly into 'must-see' category and the historic Castelvecchio bridge, which dates back to the mid 1300s and spans the River Adige, is one of the icons of this beautiful city.

The ancient Roman amphitheatre was built in 30 AD at the heart of Verona and is regarded one of the finest structures of its kind. These days it plays host to amazing live opera, with the summer festival season a particular highlight.

Verona offers historic architecture, incredible opera, and some of the finest local Italian wines - along with the food this part of the world is so famous for.

All that and we've not yet touched upon the skiing and snowboarding on offer. It's location in the Vicentine Alps in Northern Italy means you've got an outstanding choice of resorts to sample.

Not sure about you, but we're sold!
