Kraków

Kraków

Poland’s former capital is jam-packed with history spanning every era from the middle-ages, making it a truly fascinating city to visit.

The Medieval town square, Rynek Główny, is full of awesome architecture and regarded as being one of the very best public spaces in Europe - with parts of it dating back to the 11th century.

Another highlight is the Wielicza Salt Mine, located just outside the city, which comprises around 300km of underground tunnels and chambers spread over nine different levels. You can take a two hour tour of the entire mine. This place is rightly regarded as one of Poland's most popular attractions.

When in town don't forget to sample authentic local food (make sure to try pierogis) and with one of the highest concentrations of pubs anywhere in the world, say cheers to a great time in Krakow!
