Found at the foot of Morocco's Atlas Mountains, Agadir is famed for its stunning landscapes, sandy beaches and year-round sunshine.
The city sits on the edge of the Atlantic and its beaches stretch 10-kilometres along the coastline, meaning it's a haven for both those seeking an adrenaline-fuelled water sports adventure or a relaxing warm weather break.
Among the must-see spots is the hilltop Kasbah which dates back to the 1500s. The view from the top is something quite spectacular.
And so far as day trips go they don't come much better than a visit to the spectacular Paradise Valley, found within the Atlas Mountains with its rocky pools and trekking trails. Just remember some comfy shoes.
